USG Transvaginal (TVS) is a test that uses high-frequency sound waves to examine a woman’s uterus, ovaries, tubes, cervix, and pelvic area. Transvaginal refers to across or through the vagina. An ultrasound probe is introduced into the vagina during the TVS.
